Friday Fill Ins: Spring Is In The Air

1. I'm looking forward to more spring like weather next week.
2. I don't handle waiting for the release of a highly anticipated book I want to read very well.
3. A bowl of ice cream or frozen yogurt is something I could eat every day.
4. Warmth and sunlight are sure signs of spring where I live (and unfortunately allergies too).
5. Weekend, here I come!
6. I do not have any tattoos.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to finally getting around to my friends blogs that I have been neglecting this week; tomorrow my plans include cleaning out the garage and Sunday, I want to laze about, catch up on some reading, and maybe even Lost!

  1. I especially like how you include cleaning out the garbage as one of your plans for the weekend. :)

  2. Ice cream? Yummy! And I could eat it every day.

As for Lost - this week's episode sure had me Lost! Of course, I didn't watch last season so I may be lost for a reason!

  3. I know how you feel about waiting on a new release from a favorite author or one that you have been waiting for. Sometimes it can be absolute pain, lol!

  4. Yum, ice cream/frozen yogurt.

Lost is pretty good this season! I'm given up trying to make sense of it, for one thing. And less Jack.

  5. I share much of that anticipation for a new book. :) Have a great weekend lazing about.

  6. Thanks for the visit. I'm in a much better mood today, thankfully.
#2 is one I totally agree with! Particularly when it's that last book in a series.

  7. I'm glad you've been catching up on your blog-reading tonight; I've missed your comments! :-)

I'm trying to save Lost for Sunday too. We'll see if I cave early on that.

Enjoy your weekend, Wendy - hope you're feeling better!

  8. Trish - It must be done. :-) We really need to do some major sorting: keepers, donations, and throw-aways.

CJ - Ice cream always hits the spot. :-)

My Lost fan coworkers are getting impatient with me because I'm so behind. The show seems to leave us with more questions than answers with each new episode. Especially this season.

April - It's very difficult. I am not very patient at times like that, let me tell you.

Carrie K - Yum, most definitely! I am enjoying this season of Lost very much. I just wish I could stay on top of it!

Matt - The anticipation phase is a very exciting time, isn't it? I just wish I didn't have to wait so long sometimes. I hope you have a great weekend too.

Julie - I'm so glad you are feeling better. I haven't been in the best of moods lately either, but you have a better excuse. :-)

Waiting for the last in a series is definitely the worst.

Florinda - I hadn't meant to fall so behind. I've missed checking in with everyone. I think I'm going to call it a night now though. I'm all blogged out.

I hope you have a great weekend too.

  9. Happy weekend to you! I hope you have a great one. It's my final weekend of organising before the off to Scotland so I too have a lot planned. Has anyone explained the wierd smoke and polar bears in Lost yet? Stopped watching in series II but just curious. (If they have but the explanation is very lengthy and complicated, which I expect it will be, don't worry!!)

  10. Dancin' Fool - I do hope you have a fun and safe trip, even if you are working the entire time. Hopefully you'll have a little time to relax and enjoy yourself.

The creators of Lost haven't really explained the smoke monster or the polar bears, no. We've been given glimpses of other pieces of the puzzle in regards to those things, but nothing that would answer any real questions. That seems to be the nature of the show. :-)

  11. I have allergies, too. Last year I didn't take anything b/c I was pregnant and it was agony!

Lost was really good this week, I love this season so far!

  12. Alisia - I have allergies year round, but during the spring they are the worst. At least this year you can take medication again to help! That will bring some relief hopefully.

  13. Oh I'm definitely with you on #2, Wendy. ;) And I LOVE ice cream!! Yum Yum! ;P

  14. Oh I hear you on #2! And now I'm going to have to have some ice cream. Thanks a lot! ;)

  15. Our weather is pretty wonky here right now. Cold one day, hot the next!

  16. Melody - Ice cream definitely is yummy! ;-)

Tanabata - I hope you enjoyed your ice cream!

Jen - Ours is shifty like that too. Yesterday the fog rolled in and stayed for most of the day, and today it's back to sunny, but this time it brought the Santa Ana winds. I like the sun, but can't stand the winds. :-(

  17. I did! Haagen Dazs Crunchy Macadamia Nut Brittle Ice Cream Bar. Mmmm.. :P

  18. Hasn't this spring weather been wonderful! I love it too! And I also love ice cream!

  19. Tanabata - Sounds delicious!

Jaimie - It's been lovely. I much prefer the warmer temperatures, although I have to admit that it wasn't a very cold winter here this year.

    I like frozen yogurt too!
