Friday Fill In Fun

1. When I'm sick I'm no fun to be around.

2. When I take a walk, I think about the lives of those I pass on the street or in the park.

3. Money can't buy happiness but it can buy you a lot of books.

4. Cotton makes me feel comfortable and leather makes me feel sexy.

5. The strangest person/character I've had lewd thoughts about was Maximillion . . . No, Sebastian. But Max is awfully hot . . . Oh, I can't decide!

6. My favorite color these days is evidently black and brown because a couple of ladies at work say I wear too much of it.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to dinner out on the town to show off my new haircut (because it certainly won't look this good again), tomorrow my plans include catching up on some reading and spoiling the animals and Sunday, I want to start getting things in order for our vacation!

  1. Love your answer to #3, Wendy! Have a great weekend!

  2. Having a new hair cut is great. I do not do it very often but it's so good to make the most of how amazing hairdressers make it look and feel.

Who are Maximillion and Sebastion? The strangest people I have ever had lustful thoughts about are Pinhead from Hellraiser 1 and currently John Barrowman; yes I know but he is just so gorgeous!

    Have the most brilliant vacation!

  3. Are Maximillion and Sebastian the pets? :)

I once dream about how many books I'd buy if I win a lottery. I decide I might as well buy the whole bookstore!

Enjoy your vacation. I'm always jealous at people who are taking vacation in the fall. :)

  4. I like your answer to #3. Money can also buy you storage space for all those books!

I wear a lot of black and brown too, especially once the weather gets cooler. I suppose that might happen someday...

Enjoy your weekend, Wendy! How soon are you leaving for your vacation?

  5. Hehe, love #3. A lot of books = happiness so, therefore, money can buy happiness :)
Have a great weekend, which, I believe, is a long one for you.

  6. Alice - I wish I had money right now to buy books. Haha! I hope you have a great weekend too, Alice.

Dancin' Fool - I can never duplicate the hairstyles they come up with when I try.

I couldn't think of anyone for #5 and so I just threw in the names of two characters I'd just been reading about. Max and Sebastian are characters from Colleen Gleason's Gardella Vampire Chronicles.

Trish - It's the thought that I'm on vacation now that does it. :-) I hope you have a great one too.

Matt - Those would be great names for a pair of cats. :-) But no, Maximillion and Sebastian are characters from a book series.

Winning the lottery and being able to spend them on books--now that would be grand!

My husband and I like to take late summer vacations, especially when schools are back in session and the vacation crowds are diminishing. :-)

Florinda - And I would need storage space for all those books! Good thought.

We leave on vacation next week. I can't wait! Have a good weekend!

Julie - Yes! Books do equal happiness. :-) My weekend is even longer than most Americans since I'm on vacation for the next couple of weeks. Can you feel my excitement over the computer lines? I hope you have a great weekend too, Julie!

  7. LOL at #5!

I wear a lot of brown and black too. Those ladies would be shaking their heads at me too.

Money can also help pay for the dream library to hold all those books! :P

  8. lol I can relate to your answer for #2 ;-)

And...oooh, Sebastian! I should've used that one for my answer!

  9. Nat - The ladies at work told me that I'm not allowed to wear black on my upcoming vacation. I told her that it would be impossible since half my bathing suit is black. :-)

Janet - Sebastian is rather irresistible, isn't he? ;-)

  10. Hi Wendy,
I like all your answers, and yes we both thought the same on #4 =)

    My deam to, a bookstore...hmmmmm

Enjoy your coming vacation and a great week-end

  11. Oh I agree with #2 - it sure did buy me lot of books.

I would wear lot of black and brown too. But my niece Trish would wear lot of black and green, her two favorite colors. I think black look good with both colors: green and brown.

Have a good weekend and Happy Reading!

  12. Ooh, I love your answer to #3! LOL. Speaking of haircut, I trimmed mine on Saturday... it's easier to maintain and plus, the weather is too hot. Hope you've a great weekend, Wendy!

  13. Sylvie - A bookstore of our own would be nice, wouldn't it? :-) I hope you have a great week!

Julia - Money is very handy when it comes to adding to our TBR piles, isn't it? :-) I like to wear green too, especially dark green. Have a great week!

Melody - I'm still not sure I like my new cut. The woman who cut my hair said she was going to do it one way (the way I wanted) and I ended up getting a different type of cut altogether. My hair's much too short for my liking now. At least it will grow back. :-) I hope you enjoy your week!
