2. These triple digit temperatures we have been having lately remind me that summer is almost here!
3. I cannot live without my heart.
4. Snorkeling and going to a hockey game are two things I'd like to try.
5. When life hands you lemons make a lemon pie.
6. Playing soccer in the rain is one of my favorite childhood memories.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to getting a good night's sleep, tomorrow my plans include seeing the second Chronicles of Narnia movie and Sunday, I want to catch up on Lost and Grey's Anatomy!

Appetizer

What is the nearest big city to your home?

Los Angeles, California

Soup

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how well do you keep secrets?

I am supposed to keep secrets? Oops.

Some secrets I refuse to keep. Others I keep quite well, except maybe from my husband. Most people say he doesn't count when I warn them that I share just about everything with him. I suppose though that since they know I'm likely to tell him, it really isn't breaking a confidence, is it?

Salad

Describe your hair (color, texture, length).

My hair is dark brown in color and falls just below my chin in a bob style cut. I have slightly wavy hair.

Main Course

What kind of driver are you? Courteous? Aggressive? Slow?

I tend to fall on the courteous side of the spectrum, however, it does not pay to be too courteous on the roads in Southern California or else you will not make it very far--too many other drivers are quite aggressive, you see. I also admit that sometimes I will drive slow when someone is riding my bumper in the slow lane when the fast lane is open and clear. I sometimes do speed. Don't tell anyone though, okay?

Dessert

When was the last time you had a really bad week?

A better question would be when have I had a really good week. I guess the worst of the worst recently would have been that awful week in March. Heck, the entire month of March was rotten.

  1. I went bungee jumping for my 19? birthday and I have never been so scared in my life. I asked the guy--really, you expect me to jump off that ledge on my own accord?!? I asked him to push me off, but he wouldn't for liability reasons. ;) Greys I think is getting a little better this seaons (even though I miss Addison), but I missed the last 5 minutes because hubby was taping ER, which comes on right after on a different station. Urg!

  2. I love these feast things. Maybe I'll start doing them, too. Have a good weekend!

  3. There is no way I'd ever do a bungee jump!

    Have a good weekend.

  4. Yay for Prince Caspian coming out this weekend! I'm hoping it is as good as The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I would love to hear your opinion of it after you see it!

  5. No way to get me to do bungee jumping either!!! It's not worth it risking my life that way. ;P

  6. I enjoyed the first Narnia movie, and I had no idea the second one was already here!

Make lemon pie...I like that :) I hope you have a great weekend!

  7. Prince Caspian was so good!!!! I hope the next one won't take as long to come out.

  8. Sorry your March was so bad. Things have been pretty calm over here as late but I know it won't last.
I will never bungee jump or for that matter sky dive either. I don't even like to jump off the high dive!

  9. I noticed that quite a few people who did this week's Fill-ins said they they would never bungee jump, I didn't say it, but I wouldn't do it either.

You are quite right, unfortunately - it does NOT pay to be a courteous driver in Southern California.

  10. Bungee jumping a definite never!!

Hockey game a definite yes. Not only am I a fan, I play. So of course I am a little biased.

Great answers! Have a good weekend!

  11. Triple digit temperatures? Really? Wow, we're not quite that bad. Bit early, isn't it?

No way I'd go bungee jumping without a tranquilizer and a serious shove. :)

  12. How was the second Chronicles of Narnia movie? I really enjoyed the first one...

  13. Trish - You are so brave going bungee jumping!

Grey's does seem to have gotten better this season. I almost gave up on the show but decided to hang in there a little longer. I'm glad I did.

Nikki - I didn't pay much attention to them before because I thought all the questions related to food. The Friday Feast is fun and I'm glad I decided to take a closer look.

Margaret - If I were being chased by a rabid pack of wolves and men with guns and it was the only way I'd survive, maybe, otherwise, definitely no bungee jumping for me.

Laura - I really enjoyed Prince Caspian. It was action packed, more so than the first movie if I remember right. The computer graphics and animation were much better this round.

Melody - I hate that sense of falling fast and wouldn't be any good at bungee jumping.

Nymeth - It just came out this weekend. I hope they don't wait so long to make the rest of them. I hope you have a good weekend too.

Jen - It was! I really enjoyed Prince Caspian. Like you, I wish they'd hurry up and get the next one made and released.

Jaimie - I don't like to jump off the high dive either. *shiver*

March was a rough month on many counts, but it's over now thank goodness. I am glad things have been pretty calm for you lately.

Florinda - I was surprised to see bungee jumping pop up so frequently on the FFI's this week.

Driving isn't quite as bad here as it is in L.A., but that isn't saying much, I'm afraid.

J.C. - I've always wanted to go to a hockey game. Someday I'll get my wish. :-) I hope you have a good weekend too!

Nancy - Triple digit temperatures. Yep. It seems too early, but then June is right around the corner.

I'd have to be knocked out completely to bungee jump. I'm not sure how effective that would be though. ;-)

Janet - Prince Caspian was good. I don't think my husband believed me when I said the crowds would be a bit bigger for this one than they had been for the early showing of Iron Man which we saw a couple of weekends ago. Lots of young girls everywhere for this one.

  14. No bunjee jumping for me either. I'm afraid of height. I can barely keep my eyes open on the roller coaster!

The temperature here was pushing triple digits on Wednesday but was quickly falling back to upper 70s. It's nice and pleasant. :)

  15. Wow, triple digits already! I thought we had it bad here in Fla. We've made it to about 95 already so I guess it won't be much longer for us. I saw Prince Caspian too this weekend. I enjoyed it. Hope you did too! I love Lost. It's one of my favorite shows ever.

  16. "Lost" and "Grey.." are two of some of my favorite show! I agree that "Grey.." have gotten a bit better and I'm glad you stick to the show :)

Now that things are moving quickly, it look like pretty soon we see what happen to all everyone after some left the island to go home. What is your theory of the "Lost" show?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Matt - I don't do well with heights either--at least not if I'm close to an edge with a big drop.

It looks like the weather here will be cooling off ever so slightly tomorrow. We'll be in the mid-90's anyway.

Susan L - May is not usually quite so hot here. I imagine it will cool off a bit before too long. The end of August and beginning of September are usually the hottest months where I live.

I am glad you were able to see Prince Caspian too! It was good.

I'll be sad when the season finale of Lost comes--and frustrated. I hate waiting for the new season to start up when there's a cliffhanger. And you know there will be one.

Julia - Those two shows are about the only two I follow religiously. Well, those and American Idol, but I don't watch that one every season.

I am not sure what to think of Lost. I have a feeling that the Orchid Station will come into play when the island has to be moved. It could be that no one can find it in the future because it's been moved . . . So many things to consider!

  18. Hi Wendy, I've always fantasized about bungee jumping but never gather enough guts to actually do it... I think it'll remain fantasy unless I get suicidal. :P

  19. Bungee jumping - no way! Have to laugh at #2 - it's not so long ago that I had triple digit temps and you guys were under mountains of snow, well some of you anyway. How quickly it all changes!

I've ditched the Keyes book - got hold of a copy of The Time Traveler's Wife today and that's got me hooked big time.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Alice - I panic just thinking about it. Haha

Julie - Soon you will be looking forward to the colder weather. :-) I am glad you were able to start reading something more interesting. I haven't yet read The Time Traveler's Wife, but I would like to.

  21. I had a chuckle over #3. You're quite right, it would be pretty hard to live without a heart. :)

You have to try snorkeling! It's so much fun!

Now that Maya is staying asleep after she falls asleep, I have been able to catch up on Lost. Thank God for episodes online!

  22. I am hoping that when we go to Hawaii at the end of summer, I'll get the chance to try snorkeling. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  23. I had a chuckle at #3 too. :)
Wow it's hot there already. I can't complain yet, it's usually mid-June when rainy season starts that it gets unbearable here.
I'm looking forward to seeing season 4 of Grey's Anatomy whenever the DVDs come out.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Tanabata - It looks like the temperatures will be going down as the week progresses so maybe it will feel more like spring again soon.

Season Four of Grey's got off to a slow start, but it's turned around. Hopefully you won't have to wait long for it to come out. I think the finale is airing this next week here in the U.S.

  25. Triple digits?! Wow! That just doesn't sound pleasant. There is no way that I would ever bungee jump either - hang glide - jump out of a plane - go cliff jumping... well, you get the point, lol!
How did you enjoy the 2nd in the Chronicles of Narnia movie? We just watched the first one not too long ago and enjoyed it. The new one looks really good.

    ReplyDelete
  26. April - It wasn't so bad as long as I stayed indoors. :-) I've considered hang gliding, but doubt I could do it.

I enjoyed Prince Caspian--it was a fun movie and a great way to start off the afternoon.
