Friday Fill-In: My Eyes Are Not Really Green

1. The last compliment I got was from a coworker; she said I had beautiful green eyes.
2. I'm reading Merciless by Richard Montanari and War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy.
3. I woke up today and thought just another 9 minutes of sleep, please!
4. Why does it never fail that when I plan to leave work early, I end up staying past my regular time to leave?
5. The last thing I ate was a bag of baby carrots.
6. January is going by faster than I anticipated.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to catching up on my blog hopping, taking in an episode of Dexter (Season One), and staying up later than I probably should considering how tired I am; tomorrow my plans include enjoying the good weather and Sunday, I want to treat like Saturday since Monday is a work holiday!

A long weekend - lucky you!
A bag of carrots - think I prefer my banana :)

I agree with you on #6 although I seem to think that every month! Next week is the last episode of Dexter, Season 1 here on the replay. It's been fun to watch again knowing the outcome! ;)
Enjoy your long weekend!

I like your idea for Sunday. Maybe I can wait on taking the tree down for one more day.

Julie - A long weekend and a short week next week. :-) Yay!

I love carrots, but I also really like bananas. It would be hard for me to choose between the two.

Tanabata - The summer months can drag on for me. It depends on if there's work holiday in the month! Haha

I think we have four more episodes to watch of the first season. We are enjoying the show quite a bit. I'm trying so hard not to spoil the ending for my husband. He hasn't read the book, like I have. ;-)

BookGal - Do we have to take down the tree at all? Mine's still up too.

I can't wait to hear your thoughts on War and Peace, Wendy. Gosh, that is such a thick book! I am still intimidated by the thickness, thus it is still sitting on my TBR pile, hehe...

I'm so intrigued by that show Dexter. I've read some good things about it. I wish I had that channel so I could check it out. My reading of War and Peace is progressing very slowly.

I think I stayed up later that I should have too--although it was wonderful! I'm excited about having Monday off as well--the weather is rainy, so I'm going to curl up with a good book and a gigantic mug of hot tea.

Melody - It'll be awhile before I finish it, I'm sure! Haha

Susan - I wouldn't have bothered with the show if I didn't like the books so much, I admit. I don't subscribe to Showtime either and so we're watching it on DVD.

JMC - It's definitely a little different. :-)

Alice - Sometimes I eat healthy. Haha Baby carrots are so refreshing, I think. They're one of my favorite snack foods.

Jaimie - Thanks!

Dynamic Uno - A rainy day of reading sounds heavenly! Enjoy your long weekend!

I love carrots...and so do my dogs! In fact, I made carrots as a side dish tonight, sauteed in a little butter and maple syrup. Yum!

Zandria - My husband's eyes are technically hazel, but they sure do look green most of the time. I love green eyes, myself!

Janet - Your carrot dish the other night sounds perfect! Very yummy!
