It's Time Again for the Friday Fill In

1. Spending time with my family (husband, cat and dog) makes me happy.
2. I would like a pay raise, please.
3. Fresh chilled pineapple slices taste SO good!
4. Friday is my favorite day of the week because half of the time it means the weekend is ahead of me and for the other half, the weekend is already here.
5. My other half is my best feature.
6. We could learn so much from my cat.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to the rain, some cuddling on the couch, and reading late into the night; tomorrow my plans include cleaning the house; and Sunday, I want to do nothing but read!

  1. oooh, I'd like a pay raise, too! And some pineapple slices, too. Listening to the rain would be welcome.

  2. Hi, Janet! Unfortunately, I'm at the top of my pay grade and only get raises now if it comes about through union and agency negotiations. :-( My husband recently got a little pay raise, though which was nice!

We've had a little sprinkling off and on today, but no real rain. I do hope it falls tonight. I want it to rain so much!

  3. I need a raise, too! And some of that rain! We've had very little since last Spring. Nowhere near what we usually get in Florida.

  5. Susan - Many of the surrounding areas around me seem to be getting too much rain, but hardly any has fallen here. :-( I wish they'd share.

Iliana - I'm looking forward to the weekend. I only wish it could last longer than it will.

  6. A pay raise ... why didn't I think of that! I'm probably too tired to think straight.

  7. A pay raise...absolutely! I want that too. We recently got our appraisal done so we shall see how, haha!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and that you will get the rain you want. ;)

  8. BookGal - I think we all deserve pay raises. Even those litbloggers who do not work outside of the home.

Melody - My boss is late giving me my evaluation, but unfortunately, it won't contribute to a raise even if she thinks I do well. I'm at the top of my pay scale right now. :-(

Lots of clouds but very little rain, if any. It sure is cold here though. Brrr.

  9. Have to agree with #2 :) Who'd knock a pay raise back?
I love the library description in the post above this one. Sounds idyllic - although I think I'd have the window overlooking the ocean rather than a street :)

  10. Your weekend plans always sound so nice! Today I got to spend two hours out in the cold watching my niece ride her horse. I haven't gone out with her in far too long, so I was glad to go but my feet froze! I've been home for 4 hours and I swear they're still cold!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

  11. Julie - We can always use more money, can't we?

I guess I could put my house and library wherever I wanted, couldn't I? I was just working with what I already have, which is rather boring. A view of the ocean would be very nice. Good thinking!

CJ - Oh no! I hope your niece appreciated it! Cold feet are so hard to warm up. I don't envy you. I hope you have a good Sunday.

  12. Good answer for #5. :)
And I'm sure we could learn a lot from our cats. I sure which we could understand each other sometimes!
Hope you get the rain you're hoping for and lots of reading time this weekend.

  14. Tanabata - My husband liked that one too. :-) I bet cats wish we'd pay more attention to what they have to teach us. LOL

Alice - It was a fun one to fill out. :-)
