  1. I absolutely loved The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches -- Sangu Mandana made my list too! And I enjoyed Witchful Thinking very much. India Holton is on my TBR list, as is Peng Shepherd's The Cartographers and Kate Khavari's historical mystery. I'm also intrigued by Bianca Marais's book, Angela Sander's series... oh, heck, I want to read almost all of these (that I haven't already read.)
