(Nearly) Wordless Wednesday: Making Themselves At Home

Despite his guardians efforts to keep him off the new couch, Riley is determined to make it his own one way or the other.

The cats are taking over Anjin's desk.

  1. They really are getting comfortable..aren't they!

  2. What IS it with cats and computers? Is there some electronic frequency that gives them a buzz? Or is it because we are always sitting by the computer and they just want to be close to us?

  3. Both of my pets seem to love to be anywhere they aren't supposed to be. My cat especially loves the counters in the kitchen when I'm not looking.

  4. LOVE 'em!

I had great intentions of preventing the dogs from jumping on the couch. That lasted all of about 10 minutes :)

  5. Riley sure does look mischievous! Our dog is pretty good about getting on the furniture, but the cat? Ha!

  6. Just think what they do when you're not home! LOL Our dog's not supposed to get on the back of our sofa either, but we find her there quite often after we've left her home alone.

  7. This is only what you see when you're around. When no one is home they're helping themselves to food in the fridge, watching t.v., and playing games on the computer!

  8. They look so happy and healthy! They know it's their home and they just let you pay the bills.
    Love that Riley!

  10. Chuckle chuckle....I am so with you on these pics. I have been living downstairs during the heat and Lion is determined to get up on the alternative couch. So far I have my exercise ball on it...can't keep fighting that battle.

  11. Those pesky animals. :)
Life would be dull without them wouldn't it?

  12. Love it! I see these same types of things at my house. :D

  13. They so often go where we'd prefer they not go, but ... on the positive side ... they feel right at home and know they belong :o)

Cats seem to love electronics. Maybe it's the heat they put out??

  16. I love these pictures. Cats especially will go where they are not supposed to, because do like to "do their own thing."

  17. Don't you know that cats own your place and contents? Perhaps they gave Riley permission to be on their new couch.

  18. It looks like your animals have a wonderful life and have taken over your house like my little doggy has!

  19. Great pictures! You know you only live in the house - it's actually your pet's place. lol. You didn't actually think you'd keep Riley off there did you? lol. That had me smiling. We always say this is Buddy's house and we only get to live here. Besides I've always found that anything I try to keep him away from, he only tries harder to get to.

  21. LOL There's no keeping Riley off the couch if that's where he wants to be. :-)

Parker makes it hard for my husband to play his games sometimes, sitting on his mousepad like that. :-)
