The victims themselves weren't really discussed, which does put a distance between the reader and the crime. It would have been nice for the girls to be made more flesh and blood in order for the reader to be more invested in that part of the story. For me, I think I was less interested in the murders than I was about other aspects of the book, including Rolf's personal life. It seemed to me that was more of the focus--and Rolf's inner struggles. At least that was what I took away from it.Literary Felinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13079276242303738719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31552114.post-14509958077055675802014-11-04T21:12:15.558-08:002014-11-04T21:12:15.558-08:00Stacy - I don't remember hearing much about Fu...Stacy - I don't remember hearing much about Fury--now you've got me curious. :-)Literary Felinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13079276242303738719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31552114.post-62387723886951748402014-11-04T21:11:22.872-08:002014-11-04T21:11:22.872-08:00Athira - I'm really drawn to this time period ...Athira - I'm really drawn to this time period too, and all aspects of it really.
